The North Star started in 2010 to bring a bar to Boston that combines sports, live music, and nightlife in a fun, lively environment. The North Star, located in Boston’s West End and right down the street from TD Garden, provides a modern sports bar atmosphere with an impressive cocktail list and bistro-style menu that includes a Brunch of Champions every weekend.
Book a party for an indoor tailgate and watch your favorite teams on 35 HD televisions. We cover all Boston games as well as MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA, and more! Additionally, we offer the following sports programs on our TVs: NFL Sunday Ticket, Big Ten Network, PAC 12 Network, ESPN College Game Plan, NCC Network, and NHL Center Ice. North Star is the proud home of the Cleveland Brown Backers (Boston Chapter), along with the alumni and fans’ meetups for the following College Football teams: University of Tennessee, University of Arizona, UCLA, University of Central Florida, Virginia Tech, West Virginia University, University of Missouri, University of Arkansas, and University of Colorado.

MBTA DIRECTIONS:
From Haymarket Station (Orange Line):
From the West End of Haymarket Station, cross New Chardon Street and Market Street on Merrimac Street heading west at the light. Turn on Friend Street and walk for a few blocks to 222. We are on your left if you are looking at TD Garden.
From TD Garden and North Station (Orange & Green Line):
Walk Southwest on Causeway Street for one block. Take a left on Friend Street and walk to 222 Friend. We are on your right if your back is to the TD Garden
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From 93 North:
Take exit 26 toward Storrow Drive. Then keep left at the fork and follow signs for MA-28 N/Leverett Cir/N Station. Turn right on Nashua Street and keep left for Lomasney Way. Turn left on Causeway Street and turn right on Friend Street.
From 93 South:
Take exit 23 for Aquarium toward Quincy Market. Then keep right at the fork and follow signs for North End/North Station. Turn left on Cross Street. Stay slight right to stay on Cross Street and then a slight right onto N Washington Street. Take the third left onto Medford St, then a left on Causeway Street. Turn left on Friend Street.
From 90 East:
Stay to the left for exits 24 A-B-C toward S Station/Interstate 93 N/Interstate 93 S and take exit 24B for Interstate 93 N. Merge onto 93 N and Thomas P. O’Neill Jr Tunnel. Take exit 23 for Aquarium toward Quincy Market. Then keep right at the fork and follow signs for North End/North Station. Turn left on Cross Street. Stay slight right to stay on Cross Street and then a slight right onto N Washington Street. Take the third left onto Medford St, then a left on Causeway Street. Turn left on Friend Street.
